To use pressure pipe content from AutoCAD Plant3D

You can import pressure pipe catalogs from AutoCAD Plant 3D in .PSPC, .PSPX, or .PCAT file format.

You can bring pressure pipe catalogs that were created in AutoCAD Plant 3D directly into the Infrastructure Parts Editor.

  1. Open Parts Editor
  2. Click Import from Plant 3D.
  3. Select a Plant3D database file from your local system.
  4. Click Open. The ProcessRunnerDialog will display your import progress.
  5. When "...Finished..." displays, click Close.
Note: The Plant3D piping data you imported is converted to .ACCat file format and saved to C:\Documents\Autodesk\Kameleon by default.
  6. Click Open by File.
  7. Select the .ACCat file that was created and click Open.
The piping catalog opens to the Parts tab and the Overview tab displays a preview of parts within the catalog.
