Upcoming changes to ReCap Pro and ReCap Photo
Starting August 3rd 2020, A360 Drive will transition to read-only mode. This change is part of the retirement of A360 Drive. For more information, please refer to this page.
How are ReCap Pro users affected?
ReCap Pro publish and ReCap Photo 3D reconstruction features will continue to work un-affected by the changes to A360 Drive for ReCap Pro paid subscribers and EDU users.
All Autodesk Subscribers, students, and maintenance plan users have been granted an Autodesk Drive entitlement, our recommended cloud storage solution. If you’re not sure whether you have access, look for “Drive” under Products & Services in your Autodesk Account, or simply go sign in to Autodesk Drive.
In the coming months, all A360 Drive related features in ReCap Pro (which includes ReCap Photo for subscribers and educational license holders) will be migrated to Autodesk Drive in the next ReCap Pro update, version 2021.1. Look for more information in the ReCap Pro app as well the ReCap forum for updates and instructions to migrate your existing data from A360 Drive to Autodesk Drive.

Can you please provide a link to the instructions on migrating data from A360 to Autodesk drive?
I have been unable to upload anything to the Recap web portal since the 3rd of Augest.
I have followed all of the instructions on how to migrate the data from A360 to Autodesk Drive.
I left an upload running overnight and was also greeted with an upload message this morning saying "this autodesk service is currently unavailable" I think it reached about 50% uploaded before I left it.
It has still used my online storage though since I am at either -51.08GB (according to recap) or 5484880086900% (according to https://recap.autodesk.com/) used whereas I had 70GB free according Recap before starting the attempted upload last night.
I can log into my old A360 drive account and can see the data is there but can't be viewed (51.1GB used so there must be a 0gb allowance now that it's being retired)

How?
Yup, I see the same thing in my recap web portal. Autodesk has really messed this one up.
Thanks again autode$k.
Hi all,
We are working with the A360 Drive team to remedy this issue that a few users are facing. We will keep you updated as soon we have this rectified.

Thanks for the update Karthik.
It would have been nice if there was a little bit better communication from Autodesk of how this process is going to work. I see that Autodesk is still selling the ReCap Pro software for 2021 so they are not abbandoning the platform yet.
I did also see some information that ReCap is going to intagrate directly with BIM360 in the future. It would have been nice if Autodesk could have lunched the new capabilities before removeing resources that our cliants have come to count on. I hate to use the term "Bate and Switch" but I feel the people that have made the commitment to buy the BLK360 scanner and ReCap pro to support it, are feeling they got suckered punched right now.
I sure hope that Autodesk does the right thing here and come up with a long term solution that does not leave people wondering if the techknology they have spent tens of thousands of dollars on is going to be supported in the coming years.
Couldn't agree more. Autodesk needs to come up with a good solution RIGHT now!
I guess they still haven't rectified the issue? I am still facing the same issue.
Lets make some noise about this. The squeaky wheel get the grease.... Right?
Yeah correct.
Its embarrassing when you promise your client something and not able to deliver it the way you wanted to, especially in the middle of a pandemic.
Hi folks,
We've seen a few users have trouble with the interaction between ReCap and A360 Drive, and we've identified something that might be the cause. We're deploying a candidate fix tomorrow (by late afternoon, US Pacific timezone).
Could you re-test over the weekend? Please reboot first, or at least close & reopen the app, since it is a caching issue.
If the issue persists next week, I will request your help with identifying the root cause: specifically, I'd like to gather detailed troubleshooting info for our engineering teams. I'll check back soon (after the US Labor Day holiday), and we'll go from there.

I've been out of the office for a few weeks so have just had a chance to try this again; It seems to still be trying to use A360.
I upladed the default Recap project which reached 100% but then gave me the below error code:
(tried it twice which is why the "update" "new version" is shown)
I also tried yesterday.. Still dosn't work. -This is just so frustrating. - Well done Autodesk! 🤔
Thank you all for reporting this issue.
Apologize for the inconvenience it causes.
The development team are aware of this issue and are working on a fix.
Thanks for your patience.

do you have ETA on this?. People at field are waiting to access the scan using the Ipad app.
We are looking to other alternatives with Leica Truview and JetStream
Hi folks,
ReCap Pro's publish feature as well as ReCap Photo's 3D reconstruction feature will continue working with A360 Drive storage, even after the upcoming retirement of the A360 Drive web portal (and A360 Drive storage for other Autodesk products). ReCap will completely transition to Autodesk Drive from A360 Drive very soon. We're working on getting you a timeline for that, and I'll post an update as soon as I can.
For those who are having issues publishing projects to A360 Drive in ReCap, if you could message me directly your Autodesk account ids or email me at karthik.nathan@autodesk.com, we'll take a look and try to rectify things right away.
Thank you.

Hello,
Are there plans to increase the storage space of 100 GB in the new solution?
Thank you
